Councillors
Andrew Taylor, Chair
I moved to Chadwick End in January 2020 and live with my wife Fionuala and her two adult sons. We have all enjoyed the move here and really value the village life hence why I am keen to get involved with the Parish Council to support and give something back to the community. I hope to live here for many years and look forward to being an active member of the council. By profession I work in Banking and am also a Chartered Director.
Karen Bell, Vice Chair
We moved to Chadwick End from nearby Knowle and Dorridge in early 2020, having fallen in love with the area through walking, running and visits to the Orange Tree (all of which we continue to enjoy now that we’re here!). A qualified nurse, I now work in Medical Communications/Digital Healthcare, and have 2 grown-up children and a new baby grandson. I’m also a keen gardener, enjoying experimenting with plants that will grow in our heavy clay soil and looking forward to working with some more volunteers to develop our Village Hall garden.
Heather Dewing, Councillor
I moved to Chadwick End with my family in 2017, having previously lived in Balsall Common. I’m a Chartered Civil Engineer by trade and have worked extensively in the water industry before running my own consultancy, advising large businesses on improving efficiency. I’m keen to apply my technical background to support planning and infrastructure projects in the village. My family and I also enjoy volunteering locally, including litter picking and helping with the Village Hall garden. I’m married with a teenage daughter who attends a local school, and I love exploring the area on foot.
Kerry Finlayson, Parish Clerk
I joined the Parish Council in November 2018. I live in Coventry with my children, Romy, Freddie & Alfie. I undertake this role in addition to my main job as cabin crew for British Airways.
